How about a Friday ride to Lulu's for lunch via Dauphin Island Ferry? I figure meet at 7:30 am at Kangaroo on 57 and 90. KSU 7:45 departure is it for us. I've never been on the Ferry or to Lulu's so it will be a first for me.

Here's a tentative schedule I came up with.

Depart OS no later than 8:00 am. Google Map0s estimates 1 hour and 12 minutes to Dauphin Island, but I like to have some time to spare.

Ferry leaves Dauphin Island at 9:30 and takes 45 mins according to the Ferry schedule (listed later in this message).

We will meet at The Shell station just north of I-10 on Hwy 57 (just across from the Shed). Meet time 8:00 am. KSU at 8:15. We'll be taking I-10 instead of hwy 90.

It was a good day overall. We just barely caught the ferry going over. At Lulu's they tried to seat us on the back deck where it was hot as hell. We moved ourselves. Food and service was ok. Glen, Page, and Tammy showed up as we were leaving. Jan and Jarome dropped out on the way back, but they made it home ok going back the long way. Pat, William, Gil, Jon, Debra, Jerry, and I all made it back safe (not sane) and sound. Aren't you guys sorry you missed it?? lol
